Choosing an Exam Center (Singapore)
Choosing an exam center is very important. The location and environment of the exam center can have impact on your overall exam experience. Let's describe some points to consider.
1) Accessibility of the Exam Center
Look for those exam centers nearby MRT stations or those that are located nearer to your home to avoid any traffic delay.
2) Size of the Exam Center
If you're the type of candidate who requires an extremely quiet environment in order to concentrate on your exam, pick an exam center with smaller candidate sizes. You might want to call the exam center up to check how many concurrent candidates can take an exam.
From my experience, the smaller the size the quieter it is, since people tend to make some noise during exams (e.g. reading the questions, talking to himself, clicking everywhere...etc)
3) Time Slots
Weekend or after office hour time slots are the most popular. If you're trying to book an exam date within the next 2-3 weeks, chances are the popular slots are taken up. You might want to consider taking up an off-peak timing for your exam (e.g. Wednesday 2pm), since it is going to be quieter anyway. Less noises means higher concentration.
