Frequently Asked Questions

1) How do I know which exams to take?

Refer to Microsoft's Website on the certification route you need to take. It lists the number of core and elective exams you need to take.

2) My Desired Date/Time slot is not available.

Look through all the available test sites for your desired exam date and time slot. A particular time slot may be available to one test site and not the other. The different test sites offers different candidate sizes, i.e. Test Site A may accomodate 3 concurrent candidates at 10am, Test Site B may accomodate 5 at the same time slot.

3) Can I bring Reference Material into the Test Site?

Most test sites require you to keep all your belongings to a provided locker. You'll only be given some writing material for any scribblings you need to make. Some test sites may have additional rules, so check with them in advance.

4) When will I get to know my Result?

You will get to know your test results on the spot. A result slip will be generated by the test system and printed by the test center. Test results are automatically sent to Microsoft within a few working days, so you should be able to see it reflected on your MCP Transcript really soon.

5) I Failed My Exam. What can I do?

If you require additional resources to help prepare for your exam, check out the following sample questions provider. I normally score >900+ with their help. It's definitely worth the money than to retake an exam and delay your certification schedule.
